what SilentBob saif about the early spring weather in the Midwest and Northeast - it's been unseasonably warm, like mid May weather. for people who don't live in cold weather climates you don't understand what it's like to go through 5 straight months of winter and then suddenly it's 60 degrees - spring fever, the last thing most people want to do is be inside.

so i'm sure that's a contributing factor as well as what Robbie pointed out. plus tax season.
