Cool. So now everybody is forced to buy a product from insurance companies. They just gained 30 million new customers by force.
Didn't I read somewhere that none of the "benefits" of this bill become active for four years? But the taxes kick in immediately?
I already pay almost a grand a month for Blue Cross/Blue Shield for me, my wife, and 2 kids. And that's with a $3,000 deductible. I sure hope that I'm wrong about this all being a big money grab by the insurance companies, but I don't see where anything in this is going to lower the cost of going to the doctor or buying prescription drugs or a hospital visit.
