No, we won't ever solve crime, just like we won't solve poor. BUT if we keep the poor healthy and cared for instead of saddling, say, a single mother with three children and a job or two with $100k in debt because of her dying father's cancer, then her kids might have a life other than on the streets slinging drugs to help mom pay rent.
