On Friday, singer-songwriter Lady Gaga filed a countersuit in New York State Supreme Court in Manhattan after producer and songwriter Rob Fusari filed a lawsuit against two companies she co-owns.
Fusari, in his suit, alleged that he had a romantic relationship with Lady Gaga and that he was a key to her early success. His suit claimed breach of agreement and breach of fiduciary duty and asked for at least $5 million in damages. Gaga?s suit, filed under her real name, Stefani Joanne Germanotta and against Fusari and two of his companies, alleged that the defendants violated employment statutes in New York and New Jersey in their business relationship with her.
Fusari?s lawyer did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
