I admitted to the email mixup, which is no worse of an offense that her failing to lock me out of the email account.
Here's how my email works ... everything is filtered through Spam Arrest and comes through one account. Today I have six email accounts ... my original site that I started with on day 1, my network account and another. With each, I have two aliases setup. One is webmaster@ and the other is jesse@...
If I am on a personal level with someone, I use my jesse@ when I remember. If it's a surfer emailing me saying something like "I tried registering for your site and didn't get the email confirmation" then I reply with my webmaster@ account for that domain.
So on a handful of times, out of the 50+ emails I may send some days, I accidentally picked
[email protected] rather than
[email protected] as my reply address.
How that translates to me supposedly swapping out link codes on a site I haven't touched since October... Well, that's something none of us can seem to figure out.
