Those examples fly right over the heads of the Republican's primary base. We're talking about rural hick types who can't understand any of that because they are literally some of the dumbest people in the developed world.
You and I both know that the average Republican voter that went against this bill did so because they bought into claims of taxpayer funded abortions, death panels for the elderly and long wait times for serious health problems. Not to mention the Republicans that simply go against anything Democrat no matter what it is.
