MANY of the people in this industry knew this man that screwed you over and will tell you that I'm not shitting you when I tell you he's passed on. What do you mean so nice of me to bring it to the boards? lets just remember the multiple times I was told the check was in the mail, One of which you said yourself you watched it get signed and delivered.
The guy also died about 2 years after this happened. Lets not blame this mishap on his death.
Like i said before when you suggested just going in and taking it down off of his server (well before he passed) That would by some be considered theft and I wasnt about to tarnish my ethics or name for the sake of being my own vigilante.
You havent heard a word of this since you told me he had passed. I think my troubles are worth me being able to mention my past incident.
Its ok. Like some here say. Its not much, I basically let it go. Not a whole lot I can do to a refusal of pay for 400 bucks from some dead canadian and a 'supposed partner'. But dont for one second sit here and play innocent. You may have been screwed in the whole ordeal. But I never dealt with Rick, I dealt with you. I was lied to multiple times before I ever contacted Rick to be lied to more. Up until shit hit the fan you stated you were partners. But when I am wanting a late debt paid, youre not partners? I talked to you for months and delivered a completed project to YOU. Rick came into play about a year after invoice was delivered.
One question, When I decided to email Rick after about 6 months (since last email contact) to remind him of the debt... why did you email the next day to tell me he had passed and to stop emailing his account. Im not insinuating you lying about him passing, but you not being involved any more... just a coincidence?
