Just did some googling and dug up trailers for The Devil's Experiment and Flower of Flesh and Blood. They just look like typical J-horror gore flicks. I'm being lead to believe maybe the writer's descriptions are bloating the horror levels out of proportion here. Flower of Flesh and Blood might just have made my to see list. Was jumping around some J-horror forum just a minute ago and they were discussing the Guinea pig movies alongside "Vampire Girl vs Frankenstein Girl" and "Stacy", both of which were pretty awesome and ridiculous J-flicks in my books. So I can't really see them being that bad either...
