This is actually an awesome plot and/or set up (but I think I have seen that before for the record) and not what I saw in this movie so I think we are talking about two different flicks.
I'm talking about that Iiam Nessan crap (schindler's list in case I spelled his name wrong).
Actually it's all about execution anyway. My favorite screenwriter is Charlie Kaufman and he executes the most ridiculous situations ever but he's a brilliant screenwriter, BEING JOHN MALKEOVICH, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF SPOTLESS MIND, SYNDECOCHE, NY, ETC.
