"Ichi the Killer" is a fun movie, like most of the Takashi Miike flicks.. they rock!
The other Japanshock movies like "Guinea Pig" Series, "Men behind the Sun" or "Ebola Syndrome" are ok but not really a must see. They are sick, entertaining but quality sucks (VHS like).
"Irreversible" was the first movie that made me angry, hated the rape scene and the one with the extinguisher. The movie "Antichrist" had also some really bad scenes, you should check that out. Willem Dafoe acts fantastic in that movie!
edit: "Cannibal Holocaust" is a all time classic and must see if you like such italian stuff from the 80s, the score is funny, the best of it's genre I think.
