Man Bites Dog is awesome. I think it's shocking to people who don't have a black sense of humor. The nonchalant way he goes about everything is priceless. When it came out I found some of the scenes pretty shocking, but I agree with what you're saying. For people getting into it now they've probablt seen American Psycho, then the big torture porn rush with stuff like Hostle and so forth, it's probably hard to rattle cages anymore.
Like others have said, I don't know why Ichi is on here. Especially when you consider some of the stuff that comes out of asia. Audition anyone?
Probably the most disturbng movie for me- BY FAR- has always been Meet the Feebles. Something about puppets makes it so much dirtier.
Anyway, he's one of the less disturbing / high points from the film- The Sodomy song:
