At the highest levels of any institution resides corruption and lust for power. The Roman Catholic Church is no different. I have no doubt that every Pope since the beginning has known of the molestation priests commit on young boys. It is only now with technology being as it is, that the Catholic Church is unable to conceal these crimes any longer.
