This looks so much like this one place I lived in Jersey as a kid, Ringwood. The racoons were so tame they were awesome. They would hang out on the dock with me & I would toss them snacks.
My racoons here in FL aren't that tame. They spend most of their time in my trees. I still love them, but they've been doing damage to my pad. I have a roof AC unit and they try to tear the flashing away and open a hole in the duct to get at the air inside. They do it at the peak of summer to try and stay cool and in the dead of winter to try and stay warm. I feel for them, but it's not cheap. Last time they fucked it up so bad I had to get almost 2 grand worth of work done but this time it's not a patch, all new duct work- serious metal so their little devil mits won't be able to pry it back.
