Got an email today from American Express saying that I had a "suspicious" charge on my Platinum business card.
The charge was for ONE DOLLAR to Netflix.
I thought: "That's weird"
So I logged into my account to make sure the email wasn't b.s. And sure enough I had a "fraud alert" in my account.
I called the 800 number and they promptly answered...no long wait.
Well the one dollar to NetFlix must have been a test on my card to make sure it was good. Because within an hour I had paid college tuition for somebody in Canada for a few grand and had bought a $1500 airline ticket out of South Africa! lol
They shut the card down and have a new one being overnighted to me.
I must say that American Express customer support is second to none.
