We pay property tax, state tax income tax and state sales tax.
In Misery we have property taxes as you described but we also have personal property taxes on vehicles, boats etc.

Many states have them but do not always label them as such. I know back in the day in NY you paid vehicle registration fees based on the vehicles value and horsepower, very similar to pp taxes although not always labeled as such.

In Missouri you need to pay your pp taxes before you can register your vehicles. Technically they are due by the 31st of Jan, but it does not matter until whenever your vehicle registration is expiring.

Thanx for the bumps.
