This is just the latest in Apple planned obsolescence strategy. Why release something new and overhyped and make it fully featured when all the sheep will buy it even with all the limitations?
They can add more functionality later to keep sales brisk and that's exactly what they will do, just as they did with the iPhone, which, nearly 3 years after introduction, is only this summer going to be something I would consider using.
I love Mac OS, but I'm not sheep. I wait til the product is good.
