If that were true then the majority of pro photographers would be using Nikon like they were doing back in the days of 35mm...And they are not. Taking Medium format and such out of the picture, MOST pro shooters use Canon.
I used to work in a photography store and was trained as a Nikon Advanced System Specialist. I preached Nikon for YEARS. However, Canon puts out a better digital product so when I went digital, I went with Canon.
