In this case, it's the United States and the United States military who are the terrorists. Not those fighting against them on their own land. Those people are not "insurgents" they are freedom fighters. Imagine if Russia invaded the USA today. American civilians would group and fight against them. You would not be an insurgent for doing so. You would be a hero, fighting for your freedom and your country. Flip the coin and let America be the invader, then everyone who fights back is labeled a terrorist.

That is wrong on so many levels. You have no idea what is going on over there, but you do have the right to make assumptions based on what you see on various media outlets.
