While I agree that shoulda/coulda/woulda thoughts don't do anyone any good, I also think it doesn't do any good to speculate on what role Hooters actually played.

Not sure if you've been to that Hooters, but that balcony can get pretty crowded. No idea what the occupancy limit is, but I have been up there when you can't even move. Nobody should be able to sit on the railings - sober or drunk.
And again, going by what Abbie said in her post, it sounds like she shouldn't have been in the bar to begin with. I won't even speculate on whether they were serving her alcohol or not, and certainly not laying any blame, but the reality is Hooters will have some explaining to do because she was on their property when it happened.
