I'v got a little stray cat that I recently nursed back to health and I named him Whitey. He was living in a storm drain outside my house and when he finally got so hungry that he overcame his fear of humans, he weighed less than 5 pounds. The vet said his flea anemia was so bad that he would have died inside a week. But now he has been with me for a month and he is getting fatter every day.
Have any of you heard of Comfortis? it is a pill for dogs that kills all the fleas on them in a day. My vet gave it to Whitey and within 6 hours, every flea on him was dead. It was amazing. Ask your vet about it.
