Switzerland doesn't go around policing the rest of the world, starting and participating in wars, so doesn't need to spend trillions in that respect. If you suggest that here, you would be "soft."
Switzerland has conscription of nearly all its citizens, they must serve in the military for a number of years. If you suggest that here, you would be an enemy of freedom and socialist or communist.
Switzerland has mandatory universal health-insurance like everyone here is screaming against, and suggesting it will destroy the country.
