If they enter your property, you can kill them by any means possible. But if you kill them with an illegal firearm, you will still face possession of an illegal firearm. However, you will still be alive. I'd rather face a single firearm case than be dead.
I have all sorts of nasty shit in my crib to kill an intruder with. That is if they can even get into my place. A gun is the very last choice. What would happen is, I'd go after the guy with what I have and tell my girl that if I don't succeed within 30 seconds, shoot him as many times as she has to. She will not have any legal problems at all and is a hell of a shot. Out shoots me at the range every week.
The trick is not getting shot by my GF.
