Secondly, parallels has gotten to the point where it can utilize most of your computer resources directly (video card, etc) so performance has increased with it's virtualization and it's not a bad solution to run Windows with. However, it is still emulated and some cam programs may require actual physical hardware drivers and have Windows natively run. That's where bootcamp would come into play. All in all, boot camp is free with leopard and all you need is a windows disk, it will handle the rest and it's very easy to get up and going once everything's installed (Apple has a driver disc with all the drivers for your mac).
