and of course if you're paying affiliates 30 dollars per trial signup - that helps alot. i don't think it's possible without major x-sales and some shaving to turn a profit paying per signup on a solo girl site.

http://lexibelle.com is one of the hardest working girls in the business right now and she does hardcore. She even books her content shoots, hires the male talent, photographer, makeup artist, & even writes funny skits for her scenes. She is very much involved and if you follow her on Twitter you would know she is always promoting. On the other hand just about every other girl I know that are doing solo sites are broke as fuck while girls like Lexie are making a killling. Yeah these girls are hot and convert but they will never make as much as girls like Lexie that making about 5 X the amount of these other girls. I talk to the girls that are doing solo sites right now and they are all broke as fuck. Most of them have to model outside of the site to make a living unless the webmaster babies them and helps them pay their bills. On top of that people are trying to get the cheapest solo site possible now which makes it less appealing to the hotter girls. If you are lowballing a solo site don't be suprised if the girl bails when she finds out there are many greener pastures. This is why program owners want a girl from Illinois. The problem is with MySpace, Twitter, ect. it doesn't matter where they live the greener pastures will find them. I speak from experience so to do a sucsessfull solo site you have to offer the models a fair deal and pay her well because as soon as she finds out her deal sucks she will bail and we all know that porn contracts don't mean shit when it comes to a the judicial system.
I heard a model say at the show that is one of my best friends and a solo model (no names) " I make more doing 2 solo model shoots for other companies then my sites makes in a month for me" when thats the case you can't blame them for wanting to keep their lights on. This is a model who is with one of the biggest programs biz but still can't survive on what the site makes.
