Just like Greenland and the eskimoes, Faroe Islands is not "in" Denmark.
Politically, they are part of the Kingdom (constitutional parliament vote), but they have their own autonomous government and laws. And their have their own culture and traditions. So you can't blame Denmark for that.
"Grindadráp" may look cruel when the mass slaughter takes place in one place, but it is nothing compared to the cruelty of bullfights in Madrid.. fox hunting in UK.. or birds from Amazones cut their wings off, so old fat ladies can control them...
Maybe you should sign a pertition for stopping pollution instead. Then inhabitants can eat healthy the ressources they heavily depend upon.
