I'm not sure what you are laughing about, but the sign is exactly correct. Perhaps you should have read it more closely.

Well top 50% make many many times more money than the bottom 50% so yes the guy holding the sign is an idiot.
You know is someone making $25,000 say paid $5000 in taxes and someone making $250,000 paid $50,000 in taxes the idiot holding the sign would think it's unfair.
Also if 50% basically pay no taxes then logically half the people bitching at these teabaggers rallies are not paying a dime either.
