There are MANY adult apps out there...
apple don't allow adult apps, but there is no reason at all why you can't run adult apps for most other devices, such as android, blackberry, windows mobile & the rest. In fact, you can build simple apps even for feature phones which do a pretty good job, particularly as there is not much competition with apps for those phones, and there are a lot of them out there.
Re billing for your content - US mobile operators don't support network billing for adult, so you need a slick mobile credit card billing interface, but operator billing is available in many other countries
