This is so sad to me. I grew up on Gangstarr and grew up in practiclly the same neighborhood. Step In The Arena was my jam as a teen. I remember meeting him in 1994 at a party for Supreme's grand opening in NYC where he and Jeru played in this Chinese dining hall in China Town. There were maybe 100 people there max... it was one of the best experience I have ever been a part of.
He will be missed for sure... much love
