. It is primarily for security reasons though. Everyone who comes in has to check in, so on so forth. In my building the doorman doesnt do much more. We have a Valet service though, they take our dry cleaning, they do wash and fold laundry, they accept your fedex packages, they have cleaning ladies. So on so forth.
