I've never had a cleaning lady but my grandmother has always had one. When my grandfather passed away I went back to her house ahead of her w/ my boyfriend at the time to get shit started and found the cleaning lady sitting on the couch, feet up on the coffee table, watching TV and eating snacks from the house.
Now I know she wasn't stealing or anything, but you pay someone to do a job- do your job and GTFO. I know I was in a sensitive state and what she was doing was far from the worst she could have done, but it's always served as a contributing factor to why I never allow service workers to be alone in the house.
