It has a huge influence. Unless you're dealing with a professional deal, ALWAYS sell a product as .99 instead of .00.
That being said, there is a 'trade secret' .xx number that I read on a mathematical paper that has the greatest perceived to real value. Of course, I'd be willing to share the information with anyone who's going to cut me in with the guaranteed increase in sales they'd receive.
