In the Olympics the Russkies choked, that's definitely no secret. Sid on the other hand did come through in the end, in OT, but that game was wayyyy too close for my comfort. We should have hosed the US 6-1 but ended up wining by the width of a blonde pube.
I don't think Ovetchkin has been quite himself ever since he got suspended for 2 games for that hit on Campbell.
But late in tonight's game he was on fire, flying through and/or over montreal's defense several times and getting good shots on goal, but Halak just had his number at every turn.
If habs bring their A game to pitty it's going to be a super series. If not it will be a short one.
