a lot. you're talking day and night here. for starters, unless you're investing huge amounts of money in content, you're left with only sponsors vids. This will affect traffic, bounce rate, conversions and also leaves you with less options. However, if properly done, some people is able to make more off this kind of traffic than with long videos. Then you have upgrades, premium members areas, freedom of using any kind of promotion you want, and so on. As sad as it sounds, one of the reasons for people to go with illegal content tubes is because content is free AND they can monetize it better on top of that
