I thought the Obama's have discussed openly that they had a rough patch in their marriage and that they used their reconciliation to rekindle their love affair? Anyway, a one time affair in any relationship can easily happen ... sometimes it takes growing apart in order to grow together.
Maybe I'm thinking of another now-happy couple.
