We need to finish building that big wall across the border. Keep everybody out. We've already got the news organizations that don't tell us what's really going on in other countries and the govt. propaganda that tells us how much better we have it than every other country on earth. And we have a big list of "evil" countries to keep growing the military.
This sounds PERFECT. Just another reason why we're number 1! Nobody else could have come up with these ideas!
Oh, wait a minute. The Soviet Union did the exact same thing after WW2, and continued until Ronald Reagan famously said to Gorbachev: "Mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall!"
Have the people in this country really done a complete 180 from supporting freedom to now wanting to act like the Soviets of the cold war era? I thought we were taught that they were the bad guys?
Gee, I wonder who the world now considers to be the bad guys? We've occupied Germany and Japan since the end of WW2 for fuck's sake.
