http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun_dog I had never seen one before until a couple of years ago. For some reason I looked at the sun (you need sunglasses to see them properly) and saw it, and it looks really cool, but didnt know what the fuck it was. So googled it when I got home. Now I look at the sun every day and have seen them dozens of times now. Most people have never seen them cause we dont usually go around looking at the sun.
