I have something similar. I have a fully customized Client Extranet Repository, for each client. Each client receives a protected subdomain at [redacted]. The main client area lists projects grouped by network / category, has extranet updates & information, downloadable client brief template, and studio status indicator. (Online or Offline)
There is also a Code Base and an archive of news & updates. (wikis & calendar sync with the studio available by request).
The Project files (pages) contain everything that is involved in a particular project. Photoshop comps, coded file comps, creatives, fonts, content library, studio recommendations, downloads, isolated 300dpi vector logos, watermarks, galleries, banners, Flash projects,? the works.
All in a beautifully master-crafted, fully searchable, clean, professional atmoshpere style, secure site that any executive would be proud to house his fleet of advertising weapons. (I can also write copy). Your project data is secure in our studio vault, backed up on Caviar Black HDDs in a secure rackmount data cluster.
The studio uses primarily Macs, but I dev test in the latest of Safari, FireFox, Opera, and IE8 in Windows 7 and Windows Vista, as well as OS X. (specific alternate browsers on request).
I use standard Adobe file formats for the design source and use Wacom Cintiq 21ux InterActive Displays for absolute precision.
We (I) are Broken Zombie. And I rock.
