Its not a law, its a "I don't give a fuck" attitude towards those that try to come here LEGAKY. If it takes 6 years for a MOTHER to get a immigrant Visa than there is a problem HUGE problem. US immigration doesn't give a rats ass about those that are legal. They always throw them at the end of the line..

It's not easy in any Country... It can take you equally as long to legally immigrate into Canada.
Also, the United States has laws to help immigrants come in on temp visa's for Farming and even manufacturing.
They do not take years, they take weeks. Being that we're talking about illegals crossing the borders, the majority NEVER plan on becoming legal citizens - that is not what they are here for.
