For you, Paul, wired lights off of main panel are the perfect way to go.
But for our BDSM footage, the poor cameramen need to be able to get out of the way of flying floggers and bouncing butt plugs in a hurry (not to mention airborn loads of squirt aimed at live a/c electrical devices is just bad), so we put up with the AA battery issues in order to enable speedy get-aways! lol
