having been in sales for as long as i have, i would hope i would of come across more info on this.
Oh then you have missed out, they have talked about piracy on several occasions. They aren't saying, hey pirate us - but they recognized what piracy did for them.

They aren't the only software company, film company, producer, to make such claims.... at all. I have personally made millions directly from Pirating my own content.

Piracy sucks when it happens to you - but at the same time, it's a MAJOR information gateway, it creates entire Industries, it allows trash to be put away and the best to rise to the top - and it allows for everyone to play the game.

Fair use for example: "accounted for 23 percent of real economic growth"

http://www.ccianet.org/index.asp?sid...8&evtflg=False

"It found companies benefiting from limitations on copyright-holders’ exclusive rights, such as “fair use” – generated revenue of $4.7 trillion in 2007 – a 36 percent increase over 2002 revenue of $3.4 trillion."

While this is fair use, it really makes no difference... when we want to see how powerful this side of the 'net can be.

If anything Piracy made it harder for shit Companies to rise to the top simply because they have the marketing dollars and it allowed the proper Companies like Adobe to sling shot straight to the top....because that's what the people called for.
