look, the bottomline is this-

we live in a society with rules. to enforce those rules requires a police force and unfortunately that means people within that force will sometimes abuse the authority/power the people of the society have entrusted them with. does that make it a police state? of course not. does that make it a policy executed from the highest office of those who enforce the rules. no. has canada ever had a person in power/authority abuse that, of fucking course.
