My mother was nearly killed 8 years ago by an illegal who clipped her head on by making a left turn at a red light. No drivers license, no insurance, no registration, couldn't speak English; NOTHING, no responsibility, no accountability.

We have fucking laws in this country and we pay taxes to have all the opportunities and services we have access to. LEGAL immigrants have worked hard to learn English, learn our constitution and make an effort to abide by, understand & learn our laws.

This law is a small step in the right direction yet a lot of you blind idiots want to make sure a criminal's rights aren't abused. What about the rights of citizens? You think it's the end of the world because a Latino person near the border who can't speak English or supply valid ID is detained? You can call that profiling, but I think it's doing what's necessary to combat a huge growing problem.
