If they had any value to this democracy at all they would compromise with the majority party and work towards what is good for this country.

Not one republican voted for the health care bill because they are arrogant fuck nuts that want to hold their breath and pout like children... so many fucking olive branches were held out they could have made a nice salad.

Second, you say that it is up to the President to bring the parties together. If you believe that is or even was possible the day he got sworn in I want those rose colored glasses you had on

third, you are absolutely correct that the democrats did not achieve party unity, they may or may not pay dearly for that in the mid terms. I don't care either way because nothing will change and the American people will continue to pay for this stupid immature partisanship gamesmanship.

Lastly, I would not be so bold as to suggest some kind of a landslide victory for the right come Nov.... the current mood of the country is not 'Yay for conservatives' it is 'throw the bums out' It has yet to be seen exactly how many bums each side may lose or gain.

To end this semi-rant; if you are correct and the republicans take over the house and senate what do you think will happen? Huh? you think the hard economic times are going to be over? do you think the banks will start lending again to small business and not play their little derivatives gambling games? you think the government will create jobs by investing in badly needed infrastructure? No? I hope you don't because the right has made it perfectly clear they oppose all those things that are needed..........badly, and thats not socialism it is giving the country what it needs to climb out of an extremely deep deregulated hole. The simple fact of the matter is the American public has lost and will continue to lose no matter which party is in control. Our politicians are bought and paid for by billion dollar corporations and they even managed to purchase the right seats in the Supreme Court. It's over, we lose... but hey! Maybe Obama wont get re-elected... hip hip hor---who gives a fuck?
Our government is fucked up, people are pissed, that's why the democrats were voted into office in 06 and it got worse, then Obama got elected because he wasn't Bush, still not getting better, so now, look at the primaries, the Tea Party is shifting power getting those elected that they support because of fiscal responcability. They backed democrats that took away incumbents as well as republicans, they are a force that the president and many have made fun of and now these people are eating their words. I only see the Tea Party getting bigger. All they want is restraint when spending money. I see this forcing the government to listen to their view or get out of office.

I watched a gold commercial today during Fox news and they were talking about the bank bail outs and the 10 trillion dollar debt, that was only a year and a couple months ago that we have grown our debt 30% and we are going to loan money to Greece? How many more countries will Obama bail out. He doesn't listen to the people, 70% of the people in Arizona wanted the new law, over 60% nation wide, yet the Attorney General and the Head of Home Land Security have denounced it both admitting they have not read the 10 page law, is this what you want to run our country?

This is not about bipartisanship, it's about if it doesn't work, vote the incumbents out, right now, we have more Democrats than Republicans. I'm an independent, I'll vote on each person running in office if they listened to the people, nobody I know of has, so the incumbents don't get my vote

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that
