When a bull fights well then they bring in some cows, let him walk out with a newfound harem, and put him out to pasture to sire other bulls for the ring.

I for one would rather be a bull trained to die in the ring more than one sitting in pen waiting to be turned into hamburger for people that callously don't consider how tortuous that life is while they munch on my remains.

But that is just me... At least in the former I stand one small fighting chance whereas in the latter I stand none.
