You are a fool if you think that this event would not have happened if simply BP was owned by the "people" or was owned by the state.

The word "evil-doers" could replace the word "capitalism" and your post would make the same amount of sense.

Capitalism does not promote the use of oil. The essential definition of capitalism does not contain the word "oil". Furthermore, socialism or communism, does not necessarily restrict or prohibit the use of oil. The word "oil" is also not found in the definition of socialism and communism.

Stop confusing people by telling them that oil spill = capitalism.

If you truly want the human race to advance, then try to educate people about the nature of reality. Reality (including human society) is much much more than capitalism vs socialism. Knowledge has progressed so much since Karl Marx in the 19th century. Stop reading those old books (unless for historical reasons).

Here is a hint about what to study. Focus your studies (and life) on "how to avoid mistakes" instead of "how to achieve goals". Goals are important but mistakes can be deadly. Numerous people have failed in life because they ignored or did not understand small details. They built their homes, lives, or even societies on some noble (but flawed) goal.

What is more important? achieving victory? or avoiding defeat? Avoiding defeat is more important, unless you dont mind failure and/or death.
