Your fault for not calling on day 7 and asking for the money. People like her have the mentality like this.... They know you have money obviously just sitting around you don't need. They need it. You think nothing of sending it to them with no contract, loan terms, or anything. They tell you 1 week. It's been 3 weeks and you still haven't called to ask about it. They are convinced that the money is no big deal to you, you gave it away and not even checking up on it. So why are they going to sweat paying you back when they are in a bind and you don't need it or don't care about it.
When you make a big deal about loaning it, put interest rates on it. Say that you need this back, blah blah, you can only do this for 1 week because you need it for something else, etc... then you check with them on day 7, they will think a lot differently and you are much more likely to get paid.
What you can do now. Call up, tell them something came up you need the money back, its been 2 weeks over due, why haven't they called you. When they say they dont have it tell them you need 1/2, 1/4 something. and set up a payment schedule. because i think there is 0% chance you getting the money back in one lump sum any time soon.
