The problem and cost of creating a site that's different from the 100s of other sites, in a major niche, are awesome and only a few can afford it. Twistys is one that comes to mind.

It would take a lot of money, a lot of thought and shooters and models who make their work stand out.

In micro niche it's slightly different than major niches. But they have to be run and shot by people who totally understand the niche and it's particular style.

It still does not address the problem of people not buying at all. And that's the problem today. Are we a business that can only survive if the consumer has no options other than buying?

As I said in another thread, pointing out the problems is easy, coming up with a solution is not.
