1) Extra mandatory $10/month on your bill for "rich content"...aka to use 4g.
2) For the phone to be a hotspot, you have to add another $30/month to your bill.
3) The phone is $299 with a $100 mail in rebate if you are a new customer
4) Old customers with no upgrade status will get the phone for $499
I work for Verizon and could get an Incredible (basically the same phone) cheap with my discount but I've been with Sprint for over a decade now and I don't want to switch.
Here's Wirefly talking about the phone.

1) I think most people can afford $10 a month
2) Sure beats paying $60 a month for the Sprint Overdrive as I do now
3) Yep
4) I have to pay it, but its only $449
The Incredible is a nice phone, but to say its basically the same phone as the Evo is a real stretch.. The Evo has a bigger screen, front facing camera/videocamera, shoots HD video, 4G speed, dual flash, kickstand and quite a few other things the Incredible does not have.
