The target is Google, not Windows. They are only encouraging hackers to target Macs. If you love your Mac, you should be very worried about this announcement.

They aren't moving to Macs. They are mainly using Linux and their own Chrome OS. In the years past they have used a modified version of Ubuntu known as Goobuntu (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goobuntu ). According to that source over half of their employees use Goobuntu. Most of the people who use Macs are probably in departments such as marketing.
Linux and probably Macs are quite a bit more secure than Windows unless you take some unusual measures to secure them. Even using the normal malware scanners is not a lot of security since they do not detect many things and are not able to keep up with the new malware. Without special measures such as using a disk image or virtualization Windows is not realistically able to be secured in 2010 when under normal use.
