He also goes after people who are skipping out on child support on father's day. He's just a hard-ass all around, but the immigration issue gets him the most attention and gets him reelected again and again. He has been known for going after illegals as long as he's been in office so this is nothing new.

Ahh, but this is the primary line of reasoning that the republican folks keep putting out... the illegals are "costing us too much money!"... so, if that's really the issue, we should analyze the cost benefit of having police units tied up for half a year to bust a couple of guys working for low pay at a retailer.
But we all know, that's not really the issue is it.
